The Virginia City Haunted House is a Veteran owned amusement event located in Virginia City, Nevada. The first haunted house started in our garage at our house. We wanted to do something fun for our community, so we decided to have an “After Halloween” haunted house party open to our neighborhood. This was a small 1-hour free haunt. People enjoyed it so much that they asked for more. "A total successful in our minds"! Little did we know that we would become addicted and make a business out of it.

It’s our goal to provide haunt seekers with an unforgettable experience while emerging in the detailed scenes that portray Virginia City history.

How have we grown?

2023 ~ 1 night for 1 hour. 1,000 square feet, 20 animatronics and 4 friend/actors. We also had a potluck and karaoke.

2024 ~ 7 nights for 4 hours each night, 3,000 square feet, 45 animatronics and 11 actors/volunteers each night.

2025 ~ 8 nights for 4 hours each night, 5,000+ square feet, 75+ animatronics and 15+ actors/volunteers each night. We’ve added a full bar, food truck and heated waiting tent with classic scary movies.
